Warfare In Medeival times

Medieval castle a good defense or not.

Warfare for a castle. War once a city is attacked by another kingdom they bring all the villagers in to the castle with all the resources the villagers brought from their own town outside of town that is not protected so it could be burnt down which is why they all go to the castle. The castle will prepare for war by taking wooden post and putting them in the side of the castle and then building wooden planks on top for a floor to stand on then they will put walls in front of them to protect from arrows and for a roof they use wet cow skin to keep from burning down the plat form.
Warfare begins. The war begins is once the offence shoot or charges the castle with their ground troops. There are many ways to get in to the castle the people could mine under in or they could fill the moat with something and drive battering ramps across and break down the gates to get in or they could scale the side on a ladder or a big tower called a trebuchet. The defense in the castle could counter these attacks with some tactics like if a miner was getting close to the bottom of the castle knights would place water buckets down to find where they are. If they are trying to scale the side of the castle on ladder than the defense will use a fork like object to push them off the castle walls.
Warfare ends on the castle. So now that the war has ended and the castle is safe so now what they need to do is rebuild and collect the dead and take them for a proper burial and then they will start rebuilding the castle which they use lime stone blocks to make stones for the castle walls. Inside the walls was a special type of concrete to hold all the walls together but once they were building houses they used hay for the roof which could burn easily and to hold the wooden wall on they used a mixture of horse hair clay and cow dung ew!
